There's plenty of sea fishing along the coast with opportunities for bass. A short walk away is Tanygrisiau reservoir with trout fishing at a very reasonable price. Salmon fishing is available nearby or simply catching crabs with a ground line at Porthmadog harbour.

White water rafting, canoeing etc….there are so many things to do. Just ask.
