  British Rail

Steam railways do not have a monopoly on beauty and British Rail offer 2 fabulous connecting routes.

One of our recent visitors left Euston at 05:55, changed at Crewe and Llandudno Junction for the scenic Conwy valley climb up to Blaenau Ffestiniog and thence by steam to Campbell's Platform arriving stress-free and exhilarated at 12:05 (journey time 6 hours and 10 minutes).

By way of variety our visitor returned from Campbell's Platform to Minffordd (opposite Portmeirion) and then via the Cambrian Coast line through Barmouth, Aberdovey, Machynlleth and through to Shrewsbury.
